Our Story

Jugando Sin Límites began from my desire to combine my two biggest passions—sports and helping people. When I discovered the Futismo and Futdown programs, I was immediately inspired to take part, as I wanted to support neurodiverse children through the power of sports. Motivated by this vision, I created a student-led club that partners with Escuela Arturo Angarita to provide inclusive opportunities for children with special needs, where volunteers could use sports as a tool to empower, connect, and inspire.

We recruited and trained over 36 student volunteers to run adaptive weekly sports sessions for 77 neurodiverse children, helping them build confidence, resilience, and social skills. Additionally, organized fundraising initiatives, such as raffles that raised over $400, secured donations of uniforms, equipment, and resources, and helped cover 40% of the funding needed for children to participate in an international competition, allowing them to represent their school abroad.

Beyond logistics and event coordination, I focused on sustainability by mentoring younger students to carry the mission forward, while spearheading awareness campaigns that promoted inclusion and disability advocacy across my school and community. Beyond logistics and event coordination, I prioritized sustainability by mentoring younger students to continue the club’s mission, while also leading awareness campaigns that promoted inclusion and disability advocacy across my school and community. None of these achievements would have been possible without the support of my family, friends, professors, peers, and the Arturo Angarita School. We were able to turn these goals into reality.
