What is Futismo and Futdown?
Futismo and FutDown are social inclusion programs from the Arturo Angarita Talent School, in partnership with Jugando Sin Límites, aimed at promoting the comprehensive development of children and young people with disabilities through football. Both programs are designed to nurture each child’s talent, respecting their differences and fostering core values such as respect, perseverance, and teamwork.
Futdown
FutDown is specifically designed for children and young people with Down syndrome. This program focuses on essential areas such as fine and gross motor skills, coordination, social interaction, and personal autonomy. Through football, participants boost their self-esteem, improve their ability to follow instructions, develop a sense of belonging within a team, and strengthen their communication skills, promoting greater social integration.
Futismo
Futismo focuses on children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and motor disabilities. This program implements adapted methodologies that support the development of motor, cognitive, and emotional skills. It emphasizes communication, tolerance to frustration, and interaction with peers, all within a structured environment that allows participants to learn at their own pace, strengthening their confidence and ability to relate to others.
